Another weekend of action hits our screens with the next round of matchups and, of course, Bundesliga betting! With only five fixtures remaining, German teams must look to push their advantage and press on to secure vital points. At this stage of the season, stringing wins together could prove the difference between making it into Europe next year for some and a daring escape from relegation for others.

With only four points separating second to fifth place, there’s still everything to play for at the top of the league table. Join us as we take a deeper look into some of the top teams and their opponents over this weekend.

Bayern Munich

League leaders Bayern Munich find themselves nearing the end of a long journey to win their 30th Bundesliga title. After delivering a five-goal thrashing last weekend at home to Dusseldorf, the Bavarians travel north to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. Unstoppable since the restart of the season, Bayern Munich seek another victory to place one of their hands firmly on the Meisterschale Bundesliga trophy.

Bayer Leverkusen

Bayern Leverkusen talisman Kai Havertz secured his eleventh goal of the season to help his team beat a resilient SC Freiburg 1-0 last Friday. Still in the battle for Champions League positions, Bayer Leverkusen will need to undergo the daunting task of upsetting the league leaders – and handing them their first defeat since December, should they wish to play with the biggest teams in Europe next year.

No surprises here as Bayern Munich head into the fixture as strong favourites, at 12/25 (1.48) to win, with Bayer Leverkusen’s chances measured at 49/10 (5.90).

Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund will be looking to replicate some of the magic they produced in their dominating 6-1 demolition of SC Paderborn 07 last Sunday. Favre’s men will be taking on ninth-place Hertha BSC at Signal Iduna Park, knowing that a slip-up could easily cost them the second-place spot they’ve had since the restart of the Bundesliga.

Hertha BSC

Sealing a great 2-0 victory last Sunday over rivals Augsburg, Hertha BSC find themselves in the midst of a mid-table fight and in a to worry the current holders of the Europa League spots. Remaining undefeated since the restart, Hertha BSC will be readying to take the fight to Dortmund’s gates, knowing they have more than enough firepower to cause an upset.

Borussia Dortmund come out on top as firm favourites at 3/8 (1.38) to win, with the chances of Hertha BSC causing an upset, calculated at 69/10 (7.90).

Borussia Monchengladbach

Fresh off a 4-1 win over FC Union Berlin, Borussia Monchengladbach will be ready to travel and face a potentially tricky Freiburg team. Few points separate the sides above and below Borussia Monchengladbach. So, they’ll need to build on their current good form, grabbing as many points as possible on their sprint to the finishing line.

Beaten 1-0 by Bayern Leverkusen, Freiburg will have their chance to make amends this Friday, at home. Knowing a win could put them within one point of the sixth-place Europa League spot, Freiburg will have to put the brakes on an ambitious Borussia Monchengladbach side if they wish to put pressure on those teams above them in the Bundesliga.

One of the tightest games featured this weekend in the Bundesliga, travelling team Borussia Monchengladbach come out on top, favoured at 33/10 (1.81) to win, with Freiburg looking at chances of 9/11 (4.30) to cause an upset.
