McCallum and company to keep up renewed intensity

24 February 2017

We’ll take another five goal thriller this week, but this time around we hope to be back on the right side of the difference.

The loss to Notts County was hard to stomach as it saw Kevin Nolan’s men expand the gap between us to four points, and climb to 20th in the table. This week is another incredibly important clash with Cheltenham Town coming to visit.

Cheltenham sit 21st and a win would put the O’s on an equal number of points. Paul McCallum is now hot on the heels of top scorer Gavin Massey after his goal, and we reckon he’ll find the net again this Saturday.

McCallum to equal things up with Massey and score at anytime on Saturday is at 2.40

We’re now three points away from the two sides above, after Hartlepool drew with Plymouth last weekend. A loss would be a serious blow so we need to get behind the side this weekend. McCallum told the media this week how Danny Webb has ‘got everybody on board’, that he’s changed the intensity and increased the level of confidence amongst the squad.

In the past three games we’ve seen 12 goals and far more chances created. We predict another battling and exciting display this week in front of a home crowd…

Orient to score over 1.5 goals is at 2.95

Cheltenham will be on a high after a 2-0 victory over Yeovil last time out, but with the belief and renewed spirit in this young O’s side a win is not out of the question.
