Can Tony Pulis’s West Brom do a Wolves?

West Bromwich Albion (9/1) take on the mighty Manchester City (2/7) at the Hawthorns this weekend hoping to emulate the recent heroics of neighbours Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolves held City to a draw in the Carabao cup on Tuesday, only losing out on penalties. Tony Pulis’s men will want to use this result as a benchmark.

The weekends EPL action though, kicks-off with a tasty encounter between Manchester United (6/5) and Tottenham Hotspur (12/5). The morning game sees United who progressed through to the next round in this week’s Carabao cup hoping to stamp their authority over Tottenham who didn’t. This game will go a long way to establishing who are best placed to challenge Manchester City for the title.

Liverpool (6/25) who, it is fair to say, are having a mixed season up till now, will want to get back on track with victory over Huddersfield Town (11/1). Huddersfield though, recently defeated Manchester United for the first time in 86 years and look like a great punt for those 11/1 odds.

[Incidentally a £10 accumulator with both City and United to draw and Huddersfield to win would give you a return of £2220.78!]

Crystal Palace (5/4) will be looking to pick up some more points against West Ham United (23/10) even though they will still be bottom come Monday. Slaven Bilic’s team will be feeling quite confident after defeating Spurs midweek, and will want to build upon this impressive victory.
